What is time limit on estate handling? Is there no limit at all?

There is not really a time limit stated in the statutes. There are time limits for creditors to assert a claim (2 yrs), but otherwise, the probate process takes as long as it takes to resolve claims and marshall assets.

If the executor is negligent or fails to act with reasonable diligence any interested party may file a motion with the court to compel action.
