Customer Question

My mom recently passed and she has a trust. The trustee is demanding we sell the house because she says the trust needs money. We don't want to sell. Does she have the right to sell the house if we don't want to? My daughter and I are the beneficiaries

Good morning. My name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you.

Can you provide me a bit more information? Was this a revocable living trust? Does the trust have any other assets? Does the trust need the money to pay the debts and liabilities of your mom? Other expenses? Thanks.

I'm not sure what kind of trust it is. I'll have to find out. I know my mom has about 6,000 to pay in credit cards but that's it. We still have the car to sell. She just doesn't want the responsibility so she's really mad. I'll find out and get back to you
