Thanks help this morning regarding my deceased Mother's

Customer Question

Richard, Thanks for your help this morning regarding my deceased Mother's Family Trust. I am doing the Trust EIN application online now. I think I made a mistake because on the final IRS screen, it shows ME as the grantor AND as the trustee. Shouldn't
it show my Mother's name and social as the Grantor?? Thanks

Hi there. Yes, your mother would be the grantor of the trust. You would only be the trustee.
