My mother and grandmother passed without a will. The property

Customer Question

My mother and grandmother passed without a will. The property in question was in both of their names. My mother married 4 months before she passed. My mother passed 6 months before my grandmother. Would the property go to my moms husband or my grandmothers son?

if in both names, they each held separate 50% interest. when mom died, her share passed to her husband. when grandmother passed, to her next kin - which I understand is the son. I wish you the best. Let me know if the answer is fast and acceptable.
