VerifiedDear JACUSTOMER - Without an attorney it is going to be very difficult for you to do anything. What needs to be done is for a family member to apply to the probate court for a legal guardianship over your uncle. I'm not certain if this "papere" that he signed was a will but if it was then after his death you could challenge the will if it was signed while your uncle had dementia. If it is not a will then it would not be valid in order to transfer any estate assets to anyone.
Any verbal promises made by your uncle are not enforceable so his estate will either pass according to a will or by intestate succession to his family. At this point there's not much you can do if you cannot afford an attorney to challenge the actions of the POA or the attorney but after his death you can challenge any will that might have been executed while your uncle was suffering from dementia.
