VerifiedHello Ragdolls: I believe that your deceased uncle's property passed to both the surviving brother, who you say is absorbing the property, and the surviving children of the deceased brother. In other words, the living brother 1 would own 1/2 and the four children of brother 2 own the other half. That of course presumes that Uncle had no will. I hope that clarifies the situation.
