There are a number of things you can do to make this a memorable event.
I am a High School Administrator and we host such reunions in our district. You can include tours of the high school, attend your high school home coming events and hold a tailgate before the football game (no alcohol.
As for the dinner, you could invite a high school music group such as the chorus to sing the alma mater. You can also do basket raffles donated by individuals in the reunion class or local businesses. 50/50 raffles are also popular.
What about a dance contest with songs from your era?
How about electing a King and Queen of the Reunion class? People could write current bios and you can have voting done on a SurveyMonkey web site.
Think also of contacting the old high school to see what teachers may still be alive. We recently had such an event and we found a 95 year old music teacher who entertained everyone with his saxophone.
You may also want to put together a slide show using scanned photos from the yearbook and any pictures requested from people coming to the reunion.
