Sorry to hear that you are stuck in your hotel room because of the rain which has caused a stop to visit the mountains. Some suggestions I can offer to help make your night a little more entertaining until the rain stops:

1. As it seems that you have internet access, make a night of online gambling as for small sums of money, you get the thrill and the entertainment of a real casino without leaving your room. Order some nice wine as well as food to make your evening as though you stepped out into a casino.

2. See if other guests are staying at the hotel with little to do and invite them in to chat and socialize as meeting new people is part of the fun of traveling.

3. Instead of posting events on facebook, plan a video call instead on sites such as skype. Catching up with old friends is a great way to pass the time.

4. End the evening as since you have mentioned that this is a expensive hotel, speak with the concierge on getting reservations in one of the restaurants in the hotel.
