I am having difficulty I...
I am having difficulty I have not had before and it's with my mind. Usually sharp I find myself being forgetful even to what I have just done. I feel like I'm in a fog but functioning. I make silly mistakes but not major ones. Recent medical tests show everything normal except my thyroid and tho I am on treatment it continues to be low, this time in T3 AND T4. My DR has ordered a compounding pharmacy to make a pill addressing both issues. That and I stopped taking a compounding hormonal prescription of estrogen/progesteron and the like which I take due to a total hysterectomy. Could what I've mentioned be a causative factory in what I am experiencing of late? You opinion please.

Ask Your Own Endocrinology Question

have you had a CAT scan of the brain or MRI?

Medications taken are Lotenson 5 mg 2X daily: lipitor 10 mg once a day; diuretic 25 mg 1 X a day and baby aspirin once a day plus Nature Thyroid 146. 1 X. No scans of the brain.

I would get an MRI of the brain next

you could have something like NPH (normal pressure hydrocephalus)

we can't say anything about memory until you get a scan
