Need help with interpreting results of recent cortisol stim

Customer Question

Need help with interpreting results of recent cortisol stim test.
Base cortisol: 2.4
ACTH level before injection 5.9 with LOW written beside result.
60 minutes after injection: 17.7
30 minutes later: 19.4
I have been so sick for the last 2 yrs and I live in SW Florida but have yet to find a good dr whose educated in possible pituitary, adrenal, thyroid problems. Also, I'm hypothyroid and finally after 3 yrs my results are in range even though I still feel so fatique, weak, dizzy headaches lately and having chronic UTI infections that do not respond to antibiotics, therefore in a week I do have an appt. with my dads urologist. Soo tired of being sick all the time. Thank you Farrah Ryals

usually an ACTH stimulation test is performed where a small amount of synthetic ACTH is injected and your cortisol levels are checked and are suppose to rise with time.

did yo have that?
