Was wondering If I had a case For wrongful termination
JA: Was the termination discussed with a manager or HR? Or with a lawyer?
Customer: HR and plant manager
JA: Is the workplace "at will" or union? Is the job hourly or salaried?
Customer: hourly and I am not sure
JA: Anything else you want the Lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: no
Hello I’m happy to answer your question. In order to claim wrongful termination you would yo show discrimination based on your, race, religion, age, gender, or retaliation due to your formal complaint
Customer: replied 23 days ago.
I was fired for no call no show, but I called in every day and provided dr notes.
Alright. What did you go to HR about
Was it the firing
Customer: replied 23 days ago.
Unfortunately unless you are a contracted employee you can be fired for any reason as long as it’s not based on discrimination. Do you have any evidence this was due to your age, race, gender or religion

Even with the COVID-19 happening? As I called in stating I had a fever and body aches and was given a dr notes later on also
Well did you provide them with medical documentation
Customer: replied 23 days ago.
I provided them with a dr note. And have a message from supervisor stating he received it
Did the note state you were unable to work
Customer: replied 23 days ago.
It stated I was unable to work
Alright in that case you should reach out to OSHA to report the wrongful termination so they can investigate
Does that help answer your questions
