My question is this- the Texas Workforce Commission claims they over paid me by 2362$. (A lot of that is fees)- evidently this was from 2001. I remember paying back some of the money they claim they claimed I owed them. I never owed them to begin with. They claim I accepted a pay check and didn't inform them so they made me pay back every dime they paid me. Again, this is untrue but I couldn't appeal it. So anyway, now, after 20 years, they send me a letter telling me they want their money. I want to know if they can garnish my tax refund, and if so, are they required to notify me that they are garnishing?
