SHe was very overwhelmed and needed help. SHe replied that she also picked up another shift and I replied WHY? THen the other person in the hallway sated that she was the unit director of the unit and asked if I was an ICU RN. I replied yes and she stated that is why I said that. I stated no and I explained my reasoning. We spole for awhile and I left. I then get and email from the Clinical Director to write a statement regarding what happened. I sent that and I am supposed to meet with her and another management person. I had also spoken to my management regarding this situation and asked if I was going to get terminated.
