i've had a total shoulder replaced. Am I obligated to tell my employer specifically what I've had done or would a letter from my surgeon that states that I'll be under his care for 6 months suffice?
JA: Have you discussed this with a manager or HR? Or with a lawyer?
Customer: no. I've only discussed this with my manager.
JA: Are you an "at will" employee? Do you belong to a union?
Customer: yes I am an active union member currently employed wit a major airline using sick time that has accrued over the years which I'm entitled to.
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: nothing that I can think of.
