I purchased a boat from my employer under a company purchase

Customer Question

I purchased a boat from my employer under a company purchase program. Then retired. Am I still obligated to abide by the terms of the employee program?
JA: Because employment law varies from place to place, can you tell me what state this is in?
Customer: Employed in Tennessee. Parent company in Illinois.
JA: Is the employment agreement "at will," union, full time or part time?
Customer: Full time (prior to retirement).
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: No.

Thank you for using JustAnswer.

Generally speaking. What are the specific terms that you're wondering about?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
The employee discount was provided. But under the terms I have to keep the boat for two years. If I retired an am no longer an employee, an I still bound by the two year prohibition?

Is there any provision in the contract that states what happens if you don't keep it two years?
