How do I get them to agree not to contest my benefit

Customer Question

How do I get them to agree not to contest my benefit application? Do I edit the "Separation Agreement & General Release" myself and mail it back to them certified?

They can add language to that effect in the agreement, or in a side agreement or e-mail.

You do not edit. You call or have a meeting, discuss the changes you want, and they will usually revise it and give you a revised copy. Its a conversation first to come to terms.
