Customer Question

10 years ago my husband had a comp claim from a neck injury, & their was an open settlement. A year ago he had a bulging disk that burst & had a emergency surgery...It turn out worse than he expected & although his back was hurting during work he never thought it could be related with the neck surgery 10 yrs ago, so he opened a claim Can he still open up the case & make a claim as even th dr's said it was problably related.

I am sorry to hear that. You can certainly try but I suspect that due to the amount of time they will deny coverage based on 1) the settlement usually is a release of all future claims and 2) the statute of limitations to sue has probably expired.
