Customer Question

hiI am asking about a few things actually, I have MS and have FMLA at my job. I have used it all now that I have had a work related injury and now I have been told I will no longer have a position at work. I am wondering how legal this is and I was told a week prior to my imjury that I needed to find another job due to my having MS
JA: Because employment law varies from place to place, can you tell me what state this is in?
Customer: NY
JA: Is the employment agreement "at will," union, full time or part time?
Customer: At will FT I'm a registered nurse
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: I went out on FmLA last March for the first time I had hidden my illness prior to that, since then they have looked for any excuse to make my job as difficult as possible. My manager actually used the words "because of your MS you need to find a new job" and they used all of my vacation time to pay me when I am out on a work related injury.
