Fired in State of New Hampshire on work day #7 of a new job.

Customer Question

Fired in State of New Hampshire on work day #7 of a new job. Firing happened minutes after an emotionally charged conversation there manager expressed dissatisfaction with my posture, sitting at my desk. I acknowledged the need for maximum professionalism and said, several times, that I would adjust. However, I explained that I shift, lean, cross/uncross my legs to to an old back injury. If I sit too long in one position, I get uncomfortable. I am 50 year-old woman.
I left other employment to accept the position.
Do I have any recourse?

Thanks for using JustAnswer. It does absolutely sound like you may have a case. Quick question: what was the reason they gave you for termination?

Thank you,
