Working in a warehouse plant, but the employer does not have

Customer Question

Working in a warehouse plant, but the employer does not have work for the employees to do today. My question is, must the employees sit at the plant for 4 hours in order to get paid according to the 4 Hour Rule?

Thank you for your question, however, I am unclear on where the "4 hour rule" is coming from in your question. Are you in a union and does the bargaining agreement say the employer must pay an employee for at least 4 hours on any day that they report for work?
