Thank you for your question. The law isn't specific to employment, but any unlawful touching that is unnecessary is considered an assault. The employee could, assuming the employer doesn't have a reason such as an accident, unavoidable touching, or self-defense, file a complaint with the police and could, if they choose, speak to an attorney about filing a civil tort action against the supervisor, and or employer.
