Does the employer have to give me the reason why they fired

Customer Question

Does the employer have to give me the reason why they fired me with out any warning or a write up? How about me being on salary with no lunches or brakes? Worked more than 50 hours a week. 6 days a week.

No, if your employment was at will, they do not have to provide a basis for termination. Only if you had a written contract with them would they have to provide notice and the basis for the termination.
