I was asked to step down do to payroll cost and to justify my position.
In the conversation with my boss he mentioned that I am young, I am a mother,
I am a smart women to understand what i should do with my career.
Also he had stated that I would have a pay decrease and that I am a smart
lady that knows how to budget my money. They don't have a position for me to go into
they are waiting for me to say I quit. I feel that I am begin discriminated on based on my begin a women that is young. The company has hired a sous chef an will pay them $56000.00 a year and give another one a raise. Yet they will eliminate my position so that can make payroll. I feel treated unfair. What should I do?

I am sorry to hear this. You first need to file a discrimination complaint with HR. The mention of you being a mother also suggests some discrimination. If HR does not address this you need to contact a local attorney experienced in employment law. They can file a lawsuit on your behalf.
