Good evening and thank you for entrusting me to assist you. My name is ***** ***** I will do everything I can to answer your question. The law permits employers to pro rate a salaried employee's pay for any full workday missed. For instance, if there are 10 work days in a given pay period and an employee misses 2 full workdays, the employer can deduct 20% from the employee's ordinary salary. Days on which an employee works partially, even if only 10 minutes, cannot be deducted at all. I hope that you find this information helpful.
