FLORIDA- 1st job....Can you recommend an industry that values Math skills for a newly H.S. graduate, attending college in fall to become an accountant- that provides an internship of sorts???
He is too young for a Bank right???

Banks will hire him as long as he is 18. Also, some firms that do accounting will take on interns, but mostly for bookkeeping once tax season is over. CPA firms once he is in college pursuing accounting would consider taking him on only after he has had basic accounting skills classes.
Other industries that will let him see if he likes dealing with numbers all day would be a billing department in a hospital or other medical office.
All of those would help him out.
