I am considering moving to a new position with a physician

Customer Question

Customer: I am considering moving to a new position with a physician practice. I have a non-compete with the hospital with which I currently work. I don't think they will aggressively block me moving into the new position, but the physicians at the new practice want me to get a signed release of the non-compete. I need a brief letter ot document that release me from that non-compete. Do you have such language I can use?
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: I need a release of non-compete. I have a 40 mile non-compete in my current contract. I need a document that my boss can sign that releases me from that non-compete.
JA: OK got it. Last thing — JustAnswer charges a fee (generally around $18) to post your type of question to Employment Law Experts (you only pay if satisfied). There are a couple customers ahead of you. Are you willing to wait a bit?

You can get something simple like the following:

Company hereby releases ________ from the non compete signed on ______________.

Company consents to ___________ joining _____________.

Kindly let me know if that is clear and acceptable.
