I previously left work at a bank to work bank. In the past

Customer Question

I previously left work at a bank to work for another bank. In the past all other associates that left for another bank were asked to leave that day without giving a 2 week notice. When I left they asked me to stay the 2 weeks. Since then, another employee left to go to another bank and she was asked to leave that day. This seems a little unfair.... Do I have a case here?

No, you wouldn't have a case unless you can establish that the only reason they are treating you differently is your race, religion, gender, age, disability or recent FMLA use.

Furthermore, you don't have to stay. They can't force you to do so in an "at will" employment situation.
