I am in Michigan at an inpatient Drug Rehabilitation center

Customer Question

I am in Michigan at an inpatient Drug Rehabilitation center and i work in HR. Employees are refuting the procedure here of having First and Last names printed on their ID badges. I wanted to find the specifics on how this may be explained to them.

You can explain to them that this information is needed for identification, that there is not disclosure or invasion of privacy, and you are merely following standard operating procedures. some centers accomodate by using first name and first initial of last name to protect patient privacy but that is not required, but rather something for your board to reconsider.
