Generally your pension plan is a contract. The contract governs the terms and timing of your access to the funds. Restrictions such as age, loans, etc are all governed by that contract. Do you believe you are entitled to access the funds because you are retired or of the correct age? If you are no old enough yet, then you genially cannot access the plan. Most plans have some elections such as loans, home loans, emergency, severe financial hardship and the like. However, each plan is different and yours may or may not have these exceptions. Pete
