I worked years where the management didn't

Customer Question

I worked for company for 3 years where the management didn't do anything to make the most simplest were followed. I was in a supervisor position and reached out nearly everyday for some help for some of the policies to be followed so as to take the pressure off of me. (one example... workers would call in sick all the time and I had to cover) the daily routine practice showed me the company could care less about policy. But I continued to seek out advice, answers and solutions. During these many months, I didn't pay much attention to clocking in and out as best I could. I wrote in my time a lot. Nothing was ever said to me. The district manager fired me over the phone. no warning no write up and didn't check out every one else in the district that was working off the clock as well. I was fired for working off the clock. and I work on commission. I always commission out.
