There is no legally mandated period for that. If your employer has not contractual or policy limitation, the state doesn't impose any such limitation. Unfortunately, the only way to force the employer's hand is to file for unemployment, essentially forcing the employer to explain their basis for the suspension and either end it or terminate the employment.
