L, licensed real estate for 35 years. However, most of the
My name is***** licensed real estate for 35 years. However, most of the time I have been selling new homes working or builders. On July 26th the builder I was working for Legend/Princeton Homes LLC. found out that I might be leaving to work for another builder. Being a sales person whose name is ***** ***** in being in the industry, has no problems being offered a position with other builders all the time. However, I was considering to move after Aug.15th, 2017. Due to closing out my sold homes and attending my son's wedding to a destination area. Which I had approval to leave from the President of the company and HR to go. 2 days prior to my being asked to leave was when the VP of sales and the Sales Manager came into my office and asked me if I was planning on leaving. I told them not anytime soon, but with the problems the company was having financially I was very much considering the move. The VP asked me to stay 3 times and I told him I didn't feel I could, due to them taking away from us promises that were in our contracts. A lot of the wording in the contract was misleading to where it was Opened ended, that it could be taken different ways, for it being in their behalf. But, when I told them I couldn't stay, they said I could go on and go. Now then, my last closing took place on the 28th of July, which I had sold a home that was built in 2013 that no one could sale. I did sale it and on top of it , it was a cash deal. I sold the home for $760,000. Which my commission would be $16500. I told them I was expecting it on the 15th of Aug. He then told me that it was not his call. I went ahead to my son's wedding and found out that he got fired due to several issues he had with corporate. I am wanting someone to write a letter in my behalf to the corporate office requesting my last commission check to be paid in full, plus attorney fees if necessary. I have not gone to collect unemployment, however, I do expect to be paid on the contract I wrote and signed off on. I do hope you can help me. Rebecca (Becca) Phillips … read more
