The company I worked for my father is CEO and owner. There are 500 employees so it is not a small mom and pop shop. When I worked there I was sexually harassed by a vice president and he was emotional controlling. (Not increasing pay)

I started as a customer service rep at $25 a year and in 1.5 years I was promoted to a Project Manager which is right below a VP. Some people that reported to me made more. At the time I left I made $50 with 9 years experience. The person that replaced me made $80.

When I told my father about the sexually harassment I requested him to review my salary and to report to a different VP. My father had me record conversations for evidence. For 2 years my father took zero action at that time I gave my two weeks, my father change who I reported to, and I stayed. Then a year and a half later my father said, "You will never move up in this company until you work for the Bill". (The VP that sexually harassed me) Shortly after that I left the company. 2 years after that my father fired Bill because of the sexual harassment.

It has caused me to suffer from anxiety, depression, Migraines (migraine I had before) and Epstein Bar Virus. I attempted suicide after talking to my father. I used to be bright, hard working, motivated. I'm disabled because of the past and can no longer work or support myself. I spend all day in bed, on the sofa, or at doctor appointments. My marriage has suffered, I have no friends, and had to give up communication with my mother and siblings for years because it was so painful.

My councilor and Physiatrist have said the anxiety and depression are due to my situation. My Infectious Disease Specialist says the Epstein Bar Virus is reactivated due to extreme emotional distress and it is documented by the mayo clinic.

This all took place over 10 to 13 years. I have almost all my medical records. My father has said many times he handled it wrong and the particular people are aware of the situation that could testify.

I need to know what kind of lawyer would handle this? What type of case it would be? Am I legally intitled to the damages it has cause my life? What would the damages typically be? What are the time limites? I'm still dealing with it today and the Epstein Bar Virsus was just diagnosed in spet 2010.

What about suing for this situation causing my illnesses making me disabled an not able to work?

What about discrimination in salary based on sex?

What about damages?

What about my father saying he was going to talk to his lawyer to work on a settlement but really waited for the time to run out?

When I first left the company I was so ill from the situation I could not move, shower, or talk. It has taken this long for me to be able to talk about it with about suicide being an issue. Plus, I didn't know about the Epstein Bar Virus until Sept 2010 which the doctors verify is in direct link to extreme emotional distress which my father continues to do. Last week he even said the sexual hassasment was my falt because I should have reported it earlier. Which is not true.
