Its true...as an "at will" employee, your rights are very limited.
As an "at will" employee, an employer can fire an employee for a good reason, or no reason at all. The only thing that they can not do is fire for a "bad" reason. A "bad" reason would be if they fired based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion or gender some other protected class (like if you were a "whistleblower")
So it is not likely that the "rotten behavior" of the new management would be grounds to sue.
However, if their treatment is causing you physical stress...you mention you had to take trip to the hospital...that may be grounds for a workers compensation claim.
If your injured as a result of your employment you can file for workers compensation and receive medical treatment and possibly compensation for lost work.
