is it illegal to work two full time jobs at the same time?
and can one of them not pay me for work I did becase of it.

Although it's possible to have two full-time jobs, for example, back to back shifts or work hours. But, if you are on the clock at both companies at the same time, then you are defrauding them of that time since they are both paying you for 100% of your work attention. So, if you try to assert your claim with the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor, one or both of your employers could sue you for fraud for any money they paid you while you were on the clock with a different employer.
