Thank you for using Justanswer!

Do you have a written contract or employment agreement with your employer?

Customer: replied 8 years ago.
NO. I ONLY GAVE HIM MY RESUME. I WAS HIRED ON A TEMPORARY/PART TIME BASES. HE DECIDED TO KEEP ME ON PERMANATELY. I WORK 40 HOURS A WEEK.

If there is no written contract where your employer promises to give a raise or paid days off, the employer has no obligation to do those things you asked about.

None. Zero.

What that means is that the law doesn't require it. However, you and your boss are free to come to an agreement that X, Y, and Z will be provided. Just make sure that you get it in writing and both sides sign it.
