July 20 AM I received the Gmail login error "We noticed unusual activity in your Google Account and locked it to protect your information."July 19 late PM all was normal with account.I used my 3rd party email to get a verification code and entered it. I was presented with new password ***** and filled them.When submitted I arrived at a page saying "we need to verify your account please log in again" and I supplied new password ***** sent me to "We noticed unusual activity in your Google Account and locked it..."I repeated process with phone number and had same result- got code, used code, set new pass, told to login, told account is locked.There's no message about other methods or emails to be sent in future or other steps...I guess it would be a bad idea to post the email I am having issues with...I am not using a VPN or other proxy. Am in same browser and computer used to access account every day for years and have verified IP address has not changed.Waited 96 hours per Google Support forum and tried again. No 2FA ever offered.
