Hi Mike-misplaced my iphone...

Hi Mike-misplaced my iphone 8+.so it must be dead. I know wgere it should be but can't find it (calledit, no ring to locate.) web & rep sent me to website. It needed mu email p/w which i couldn't remember in 20 yrs. got an apple security code they sent in email to me but i couldn't access e-mail since no p/w! Couldn't ask apple for text of security code since no cell !!! Talk about catch 22. i now don't know what site i was on. forgot. can u help? just got code from Spectrum rep.

Technician's Assistant: Have you tried a force reboot on your iPhone (pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons for 10 seconds)?

Did u read where i misplaced iphone?

Thats what code is. for access so apple can send locator sound if phone out of power.
