I received a phone...

I received a phone call from a aol tech saying there is a problem with my AOL email? wanted me to open my account . would like to know if I have a problem , cause I am having problems sending aol mail and receiving mail on a newly purchased apple iPad .

Technician's Assistant: How do you usually access AOL? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?

I was using my phone and dest top computer to receive and send messages,

Technician's Assistant: What troubleshooting have you tried?

Problem started after I purchased my i pad not experienced enough to troubleshooting

The only thing I'm concerned with is the phone call saying my aol account is showing a problem, I hung up because I wouldn't open my computer .

the caller called on my home phone number , he apparently has my email address called me from a phone which came back to "Private caller" that's why i answered the called .
I have a Mac, cell phone (apple) and just purchased a apple iPad which I am unable to send aol messages or receive them . Not that familiar with tech problems or trouble shooting .

What are all the things you have done to try and recover your password?
