I can see my gmail account on my computer but it's not centered and seems to be frozen. Works fine on my cell

Technician's Assistant: How's your internet connection? Are you checking Gmail from a browser or a mail client (e.g. Outlook)?

Explorer, internet is working

Technician's Assistant: Are there any antivirus or firewall settings that could block you from receiving mail?

None that I know of. The words like inbox, compose etc can be seen but all to the left of the screen

Yes. That seems to be the easiest solution without looking at the problem. Internet Explorer is out dated anyway.

Hold the Windows Key and Press R. Type chrome.exe and Click OK.

When you press windows key and r, it opens the run dialog.

in the run dialog, you type chrome.exe and click ok

that should start the google chrome browser where you can sign into gmail by going to www.gmail.com
