Microsoft outlook is not receiving email

Technician's Assistant: How's your internet connection? Are you checking Outlook from a browser or a mail client (e.g. Outlook)?

Internet connection is good. I can send emails. The send/receive message states the action is complete, but I don't see any new emails

Technician's Assistant: Are there any antivirus or firewall settings that could block you from receiving mail?

I was able to receive emails a few days ago and I have not changed any antivirus or firewall settings.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Email Expert to know before I connect you?

It seems like the function is working, just not putting the new emails where it should go.
