Thunderbird email opens in...

Thunderbird email opens in minimized form and I can't pull it up. I can't get the program to close out. Have turned my computer on and off several times trying to get thunderbird to reset but nothing changes. Don't know what else to do.

Technician's Assistant: How's your internet connection? Are you checking your email from a browser or a mail client (e.g. Outlook)?

Internet connection seems good. I can connect to the internet without any problem. I am checking email from my thunderbird icon as always

Technician's Assistant: Are there any antivirus or firewall settings that could block you from receiving mail?

Don't think so. I have antivirus protection but there never has been a problem.

we use att but the emails are redirected to thunderbird.

With remote support, you can see everything I do on the screen. Remote support is quicker and easier for you as I will do all the troubleshooting steps for you. Also, this issue can be complicated. Otherwise, I will provide written instructions.

Is your att.net email still working at the att.net website? Have you tried to remove / reinstall Thunderbird?

How about with a small amount as shown for direct remote support?

att is not recognizing my password
Have not removed and reinstalled thunderbird. I was afraid I would lose my emails that I have stored.
