When I try sending emails on my IPhone I see a notice reading "cannot send email: your mailbox is full." When I've seen this several times before, I delete most emails in my Trash folder and then I can send. I have fewer than 50 emails in my Inbox. Thank you...

You may want to do a purge and also change your email settings so you can control some storage issue..

What kind of emails are stuck in the outbox? Sometimes LARGE files will get stuck until you are on a wifi connection

Hello, Mike. The seven emails stuck in the Outbox are not large files: just brief e-mails. I'm puzzled why this is happening now because, as I noted, in the past when I deleted the emails in my Trash folder I was able to send. Thanks, Bill

Unless you have thousands of emails in your trash folder you shouldn't be having this issue at all

I would delete your email account then re add it and see if that starts you off fresh...

Definitely not normal behavior for the email account

As I noted, I have fewer than 50 emails in my Inbox. I think I'll try taking the IPhone to a nearby Verizon store. I appreciate your assistance. I don't want to risk fouling up my account by deleting it. I am not that savvy with technology (I'm over 70 years old). As I tell friends, when it comes to technology I know just enough to be dangerous. I do know how to text though.
