Whhy is gmail not working when I attempt to respond to an email? Also I now have to completely retype frequently used email addresses when just recently they automatically put in after I typed the first letter and totched the name that came up.

My problem is that I can't just tap "t" and have the complete emal address come up instead of having to type in the complete email address.

It is always a problem now.Also, I am not able to click on a respond arrow to respond. I am told gmail is not working. I must initiate a separate email which is inconvenient and slow.

in settings, go to apps and uninstall the gmail app

then go to playstore and download and install the gmail app again and sign in and then check if problem repeats or not

I'm not aware of using an app. I just go into gmail and use it like any email.

then try sending an email and let me know if the address autofills or not in the browser page that has opened
