I'm trying to set...

I'm trying to set up my Thunderbird account on a new computer. It goes fine until, after putting in the settings, it goes to check the password ***** and comes back saying 'not verified'.

Through a web browser, Thunderbird

Technician's Assistant: What troubleshooting have you tried?

I chose pop the first few times and then chose Imap, but it didn't work either way. I changed my email in my google account, but Thunderbird can't verify it.

I downloaded Mozilla Firefox to start with and then downloaded Thunderbird.
