Based on your information provided, you are accessing your email by going to mail.aol.com (on the browser). Do you use Outlook or any other email program on any other computer or device?

Okay! I'll explain a bit of why I asked that question. There's not a lot of reasons why mail would disappear from your inbox other than someone deleting manually, it being marked as spam, or it is downloaded to another computer. With Outlook or other email programs, it can be setup to download new messages and delete that message from AOL.com's email. If you know absolutely sure that you don't have it setup anywhere else, then you've got an issue with someone potentially deleting your emails.

Other than that, there's no other reason that you have deleted emails in your AOL webmail. AOL doesn't delete messages so it's going to be on of the three options from earlier.
