Hi, I am unable to sign in to my gmail account. Got message as follows: Unable to verify account name or password.

I seem to have this weird relationship with google! Periodically I get shut out of my account, come to a dead end trying to sign in, and thin my account becomes active! When I sign in, I get a screen asking for my password, then a screen asking for the second level of verification, then it goes to a blank gray screen where it asks me for my password, and the only response I can make is to hit "cancel".
