How can I use Email (Gmail) using. IpadModel A 1458?

Technician's Assistant: How do you usually access Gmail? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?

I use mmy I pad not sure how ,Lama newbie.

You or my husband fixes it.

It sounds like you want to setup your Gmail account in your iPad in order to do that please follow the below steps:

Please let me know if you are able to follow the steps and let me know if it helps you in setting up your gmail account.

  1. Launch the Settings app from your Home screen.
  2. Tap on Mail, Contacts, or Calendar.
  3. Tap Accounts.
  4. Tap on Add Account.

  5. Tap on Google.
  6. Enter your login information for your Google account and tap Next after each step.
  7. Tap the switch next to each Google service you'd like to sync. If you have existing local mail, calendars, contacts, or notes, you'll have to either tap Keep on My Phone or Delete each time you enable a service.
  8. Tap Save in the top right corner of your screen.

I have tried everything you asked and it's jusnot working. Sometimes I hate this ******** Pad.I can't afford for you to do this but have to have access to email. HELP

No error message just not responding the way you said it would. I went to settings tapped on yahoo email and that didn't work. Then started over a tappedgmail instead. Tapped accountsthen couldn't find the, then add account That's when I gave up.

Okay, after tapping on add account you need to tap on option Google and then you need to provide your gmail address and password ***** your gmail account and then you need to tap on next.

I wish I could say for sure. I personally did not set it up however my husband might of years ago. I always used email thru comtacts but that's been giving me trouble

Oh I Judith reread what you asked I never use my gmail account but if I did it would be from my IPad. We just always have to have things synced up because my husband uses both computer mostly and my IPad on occasion

I don't have one that I knawof .ai always use my yahoo which is d**********@yahoo.com, can we just use. The same only put @ gmail.com?

Could you please first add your gmail account to your iPad by following the below steps:

This has just become more complicated than I'm capable of. l got thegmail finally now you 've added all this extra stuff. This is over my head. What should I do?

I guess it's best we just end this. We spent over five hours with no resolution. I realize you have to pay for prompt service but this is just beyond tolerance for either of us.
