All three. I cannot send any emails from my I pad but I can from my phone or computer

On your iPad, please go to mail.yahoo.com and login to your account. Can you send Emails from there?

  1. Access your iPad settings.
  2. Tap on “Mail to access your mail settings.
  3. Tap on “Accounts“.
  4. Tap on the affected email account.
  5. Tap on the email account again on the next screen.
  6. Tap on SMTP” in the OUTGOING MAIL SERVER section.
  7. Tap on the first field list in the PRIMARY SERVER section (it should say “On” to the right).
  8. Make sure that the full email address for this account is listed in the “User Name field.
  9. Retype your password ***** the “Password” field (even if a password ***** ***** entered).
  10. Tap “Done” in the top right corner.

Okay, please go to https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/yahoo-mail/id577586159?mt=8 and download and install Yahoo Mail App for iOS. Login with your Email account credentials and try to send Emails from Yahoo App.

Remove and Re-Add the Account.

  1. Open the iOS Settings app.
  2. Tap Accounts & Passwords.
  3. Tap your Yahoo Mail account.
  4. Tap Delete Account.

Restart iPad and Add the account back.

  1. Open the iOS Settings app.
  2. Tap Accounts & Passwords.
  3. Tap Add Account.
  4. Tap Yahoo.
  5. Enter your Yahoo Mail address and password, then tap Sign in.
  6. Optionally, disable aspects of Yahoo Mail from syncing.
  7. Tap Save.

The issue may be due to encryption settings that are not compatible between Yahoo and the iPad.

Enabling the Less Secure Apps setting in Yahoo Mail may resolve the issue.

Next click the link below:

click here

Then sign in to your account.

Then enable the "Allow apps that use less secure sign in" option and test to see if the issue is resolved. Note you may have to restart your iPad first before testing.
