I can receive email but cannot send it.

I unloaded the email account and got a new password.

I reset the password ***** my iphone. My wife couldnt send email on her ipad so was told to dlete the account and reenter it with the new password. Now we cant sent mail from the phone, or the pad.

my phone says cannot send mail "the user name or password ********@******.*** incorrect. The ipad just puts it into the outbox.
As I said, we get mail but cant send it.
